Baptism

This past weekend Lucia was baptised at Incarnation Lutheran Church. It was a very nice service and she looked beautiful in her long baptismal gown. She slept through the baptism, flinching just a little each time the pastor poured water on her head. :) The Hoags and Kaari and Jonathan were her sponsors and stood up with us. We had a nice celebration brunch at Dan and Ellen's after church. It was a special day in our little girl's life. Thanks to all those who helped us celebrate!

Practicing for Halloween

I decided to pull out the Halloween costume and try it on her. Good thing, because she may not fit into it by the end of October. She's a darling banana! Thanks, Auntie Karen, for the costume!

Our Little Reader

Grandma Sue sent us a great new book, thank you! Lucia is already a reader, cooing and smiling as mom or dad read the words on the page and ask her questions. One of our favorite things to do as a family is to lay on the big bed and read a book together. :) I tried to attach a video of Lucia and I reading the new book, but apparently I'm not ready for that, it didn't work. Instead, I attached a photo of her reading one of her favorites, Fuzzy Bee.

Lucy Loves Baths!

Lucia has grown into enjoying her bathtime, smiling and even splashing as we wash. Mom loves bath nights because we get to snuggle up in our cute hooded towel while we cuddle and nurse.
